This 56-year-old gentleman came to our facial plastic surgery practice in Raleigh requesting a consultation for a facelift. He was mainly concerned with his sagging lower face. On examination, I found that his moderate cheek sagging, severe jowl formation and fatty tissue in the submental (neck) area made him a good candidate for a cheek-neck facelift. We had a long discussion on where the incisions would be and the changes that would happen to his hairline. The pictures here were taken at 2 months after surgery. The patient was very pleased with the improved appearance of his lower face, in particular his cheeks and neck.
